Just letting you know that I hooked up my new PC last night and it is working fine.
The full screen mode problem was a simple fix. It was an issue with the Flash player. All I had to do was right click on the video that was playing in non-full screen mode and disable the hardware acceleration option.
I watched a couple of shows last night and the picture quality is pretty decent. The resolution of the TV is poor for a monitor, so it is not suitable for doing anything other than watching videos -- but it fits my needs.
I accidentally ended up with two power cords. I will stop by and drop off the extra one today or tomorrow.

Aug 15, 2011 Steve did great job with transferring my home movies (difficult video transfer process with Sony tapes) to a wonderful DVD gift set. In just a few days he did a great job with the presentation, editing, and labeling of each DVD. The cover had a wonderful layout, front and back. I feel much better about preserving my precious home movies for my family. Thanks Steve!

I took my tower in because it wouldnt power on anymore. Steve told me that he would check it out and give me a call ASAP. He called me the same day and let me know that my problem was that the power supply was dead and that he would order another one for me. Two days later my tower was ready and now I'm writing this review from my repaired tower which is running great. Thanks Steve you saved me the money of having to buy a new computer!!!

Great service at a fair price! I got exactly what I asked for without all the hard-sell BS from other computer repair places. Steve had my 5 year-old laptop for less than two hours and had it running like new! SandS has my business from now on.

I am and will recommend Sands PC. I had a laptop that another computer service was unable to get to work. I took it to Sands and the problem was diagnosed and gave me options as to what could be done. I was very pleased with my service and the price was also unbeatable for the service I received.

I recently had been running into several problems with my network at home. I called Sands PC to see if I could get help with my problem. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. That same day he came to my house and repaired my network to my suprise. Steve went over a couple of important information about my computer and suggested to take a look at it since it was running so slow. The following week he repaired my computer and I was set. Wow I never remeber my computer running so well. I highly recommend Sands Pc center. Not only will you get excellent service you can't beat their prices. Five Stars!!!

I had been experiencing some difficulties with my laptop, and was actually in the market for a new one, when a friend recommended I take it to SandS PC. He had recently been a customer there and said I should give it a shot. I'm glad I did!!!! Steve is really knowledgeable and was able to repair my laptop and give me some pointers as how to keep it running in top shape. I would highly recommend anyone who is who is thinking about a new system or is having problems to stop by and give SandS PC a chance. You will not be disappointed!!

Had a virus on my laptop that wasn't letting me do anything. I took it to Steve at Sands PC center who was very polite and patient with me and my little knowledge of computers. Told me it wouldn't be a problem that he could take the virus off without losing any of my files or irreplaceable pictures. In less than 24 hours I received a phone call from Steve letting me know that he was able to take the virus off and on top of it he cleaned my computer so that it runs faster for no additional cost. Steve is a great guy and he really cares about making the customer happy. Wish more businesses had that kind of customer service.

you have come to the right place! One night I submitted information to have two advertisement pages created. By the next day, my email had been deciphered and I had two creative, eye-catching advertisements back in my email. I have had people ask who did my work after seeing the final product. I got a nasty virus on my computer and Steve's crew were really helpful in getting it removed. They also worked with me in a friendly atmosphere telling me about the dangers of free software. This is now my place of choice for all of my computing needs! Thanks S and S! You guys are great!

When I took my PC to SandS it wouldn't even boot. Steve (the owner) called me the next day telling me not only did he get my badly missed files off of the hard drive but also the PC was up and running again and when he delivered the "New" PC to my home, I say new because it ran new, not better because I got a great deal on a ram upgrade... I would highly recommend SandS PC service to basic computer learners, technical employers and small and large businesses. My continual relationship with SandS and the owner has provided me with both on site at his location in Fluvanna, and via the telephone. In all instances, Steve was knowledgeable and helpful with both my work/personal computer and, in addition, a recently purchased very technical laptop PC. Not only did his service provide upgrades and clean-up for my standard PC, but he taught me the various uses and nuances of both computers.
